Why Waterloo Is the To-Go Place for Hong Kong investors

Education

Schoolchildren in the Waterloo region attend schools in the boroughs of Southwark and Lambeth. In addition to attracting some of the best and brightest minds from all over the world, Waterloo is home to two of the top-ranked universities in the nation.

The Perimeter Institute of Theoretical Physics and the Centre for International Governance Innovation are just a few of the think tanks that are assisting in the transformation of great ideas into some of the most profitable and inventive companies in the nation.

Transport

In addition to numerous commuting services, primarily into the south and west of London, Waterloo station also operates trains farther afield to the south coast and places like Southampton and Bournemouth.

The Waterloo & City line offers a four-minute trip into Bank, while the Bakerloo, Northern, and Jubilee lines all pass through Waterloo. In addition to the many options already available, buses depart from Waterloo in all directions.

Because parking is scarce and the entire Waterloo region is under the congestion charge zone, many inhabitants decide against owning cars. A cycle lane across the Waterloo Bridge and a Quietway path from Waterloo to Greenwich have made cyclists feel safer despite the area's customarily congested roads and bridges.

Safety

While crime in Waterloo is still present, state police, private security, and the Waterloo residents prioritize safety in the area. The police response time evident in major and minor incidents is remarkable, and residents often rely on each other whenever necessary.
